Video Producer and Content Editor

About the role

The Public Affairs Officer (Video Producer and Content Editor) will drive the Club’s social media exposure, creating and publishing engaging digital content across owned channels. This role blends graphic design, video production, and editorial work to strengthen the online presence of racing, corporate, charity, and event initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Produce digital content, including video filming, editing, graphic design, and post‑production.
• Publish accurate and timely content on the Club’s social platforms and monitor for reputation risks.
• Coordinate with marketing, business, and communication teams to plan and execute social‑media exposure.
• Copyedit syndicated material in English and Traditional Chinese.
• Review daily news summaries, manage repost schedules, and track social‑media performance analytics.
• Assist in social‑media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
• Support publicity plans for racing, charity, and corporate projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to leverage existing content for maximum reach and engagement.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in communications, public relations, journalism, media studies or related fields.
• Excellent graphic design, filming and video‑editing abilities.
• 1‑3 years solid experience in content creation and video production; experience in large corporations is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of online trends, social‑media optimisation, and reputation management.
• Good writing skills in both English and Traditional Chinese.
