VP – Information & Cybersecurity Auditor

About the role

This senior position sits within the Information and Cyber Security (ICS) team of a leading international bank. The VP will support the Head of Audit in shaping the risk assessment framework and delivering high‑impact internal audits across the bank’s cyber‑security landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the GIA risk assessment and audit plan for the assigned portfolio.
• Lead and execute internal audit engagements covering identity and access management, vulnerability management, code security, SOC operations, threat intelligence, red and purple teaming, and penetration testing.
• Provide clear guidance, detailed review and supervision to audit team members to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Identify risks, draft issue reports, negotiate remediation actions with management and track implementation of action plans.
• Champion the use of advanced techniques such as AI and data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT auditing or information security.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.
• Proven team‑leadership, coaching and conflict‑management abilities.
• Relevant professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CEH, CCSP, GIAC, CRISC, CISM, CIA) are highly desirable.
