Warehouse Manager

About the role

Yamato Logistics (HK) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead its warehouse operations, including cargo handling, transportation, stock control, and manpower management. The role focuses on meeting quality KPIs for both the company and its customers while driving efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities such as cargo arrangement, transportation coordination, and inventory control.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Design warehouse management plans and support business proposals to meet customer needs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly status reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and other operational teams to resolve issues.
• Handle ad‑hoc duties assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or a related field (e.g., IATA diploma).
• At least 10 years of experience in warehouse or cold‑chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and basic managerial techniques (stock control, vehicle management, asset tracking, roster planning, training, and KPI maintenance).
• Excellent written and spoken Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard PC applications.
