Web/App Test Engineer

About the role

Binance is looking for a Web/App Test Engineer to own end‑to‑end quality assurance for its web and mobile products. The role combines automated and exploratory testing to ensure stability, compatibility and a seamless user experience across platforms. You will act as the quality gatekeeper, writing code‑based tests, investigating data issues and replacing manual effort with systematic automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain comprehensive test cases and plans for web and mobile functionality, compatibility and interaction.
• Develop UI and API automated tests using Java, Python or JavaScript with tools such as Selenium, Appium or Playwright.
• Combine automation with manual exploratory testing to validate user scenarios and uncover experience issues.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on test failures and production incidents, driving fixes to closure.
• Conduct app compatibility testing across devices, OS versions and screen sizes, and web cross‑browser, cross‑resolution testing.
• Participate in performance testing (page load, app cold/warm start) and ensure stability under high‑concurrency or weak‑network conditions.

Required profile

• 1–5 years of QA or test development experience, including at least 1 year of web or app automation.
• Strong coding ability in Java, Python or JavaScript (live coding assessment required).
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with mobile or web testing tools and frameworks.
