Wok Chef – VIP Dining & Events / Canteen Café & Grab & Go

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Wok Chef to join our VIP Dining & Events team at the International Commerce Centre in Hong Kong. The role supports the Canteen Café and Grab‑&‑Go operations, delivering high‑quality Asian cuisine in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients, chop, wash, peel, and store fresh produce.
• Cook dishes according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Prepare cold foods and assemble dishes for service.
• Monitor food temperatures, test doneness, and ensure consistent quality.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, report incidents, and complete required training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a similar kitchen or restaurant role.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lb throughout the shift.

Required skills

• Food preparation and cooking techniques, especially wok cooking.
• Operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Food safety, temperature control and sanitation procedures.
