Accountant – Asia Finance Team (Hong Kong)

About the role

FGS Global is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its Asia finance team in Hong Kong. The role will support day‑to‑day accounting operations across Hong Kong, Singapore and China, focusing on audit support, tax compliance and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle bookkeeping, voucher/invoice entry, account reconciliations and monthly closing.
• Reconcile and verify revenue, costs and expenses to ensure accurate and compliant accounting treatment.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.
• Support the statutory audit process by preparing accurate financial records and providing documentation to auditors.
• Assist with tax filing obligations across Hong Kong, Singapore and China, including GST/VAT compliance and corporate income tax matters.
• Support accounts payable and billing functions, including invoice processing, payment coordination and vendor/client set‑up.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate account expenditures in line with company policy.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency in the Asia finance function.
• Perform ad‑hoc finance and administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline from a recognised university, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or multinational environment.
• Experience supporting statutory audits and tax filing.
