Accountant (Finance & Accounting)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves maintaining accurate books, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits and tax filings. You will work closely with department heads and contribute to strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain proper books and records while evaluating the financial impact of new business initiatives.
• Produce error‑free internal management reports, analyze financial data and summarize the company’s financial status.
• Prepare financial statements and develop budgets/forecasts according to schedule.
• Assist with external and internal audits and ensure compliance with tax returns.
• Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and manage ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy with CPA qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Experience with Hong Kong tax filing is advantageous.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong collaboration skills with department heads and independent work capability.
• Organized, accurate and detail‑oriented.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Required skills

• High proficiency in MS Excel.
• Chinese typing ability.
• Experience with Hyperion (preferred).
