Assistant Housekeeper – Hong Kong

About the role

The Assistant Housekeeper will support the housekeeping team at Eaton HK, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house operations. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will act as Shift‑in‑Charge, overseeing daily activities and coordinating with other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise implementation of housekeeping standards for bedrooms, bathrooms, valet, cleaning and linen services.
• Open and close shifts, ensuring effective handover and accurate shift records.
• Perform room allocations, conduct room inspections and monitor public‑area cleanliness.
• Liaise with Front Office and Engineering to address guest and hotel requirements.
• Coordinate special projects such as pest control, window and carpet cleaning, and inventory checks.
• Maintain records of lost and found items and manage storage areas.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Form 6 or equivalent education.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory housekeeping experience in a comparable hotel.
• Responsible, well‑organized with strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Experience operating housekeeping equipment.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
