Assistant Manager (Architect) - Property Projects

About the role

CITIC Pacific is hiring an Assistant Manager (Architect) for its Property Projects business in Hong Kong, on a 3-year contract. The role supports the General Manager and Deputy General Manager in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the GM/DGM in monitoring and managing construction projects from start to finish
• Handle overall project management, including project budget, cost control, programme, design quality, design coordination, construction supervision and contract administration
• Liaise with consultants and relevant government departments so projects stay within budget and schedule and meet quality requirements
• Provide technical support to the project team

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in construction project management; candidates with less experience may be considered as assistant managers
• Recognized professional qualification such as HKIA or equivalent
• Experience with property developers and/or consulting firms is an advantage
• Proven experience on sizable high-end residential or commercial projects is highly preferred
• Construction safety supervisor certificate is an advantage

Required skills

• Highly proficient written and spoken Cantonese and Putonghua, and English
• Project management, communication and supervisory skills
• Problem-solving, analytical and negotiation skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
