Assistant Manager / Tax Consultant – Cross‑Discipline Tax Advisory

About the role

KPMG is seeking an Assistant Manager/Tax Consultant to join its Hong Kong Tax team. You will work across multiple tax disciplines, providing advisory and compliance services to a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tax advisory and compliance services in specialist areas such as Business Tax, Personal Tax, Transfer Pricing and Deals.
• Collaborate with clients and cross‑functional project teams to design commercial solutions that address business needs.
• Manage regional tax projects and support their successful delivery.
• Contribute to the development, promotion and implementation of tax process transformation initiatives for the firm and its clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of tax experience, preferably with a large professional services firm.
• Professional qualification in accounting or law is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability, logical thinking and proactive attitude.
• Excellent presentation skills and fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Proficiency in MS Office; VBA knowledge is advantageous.
