Assistant Relationship Manager, Client Support Desk

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager will join the Client Support Desk of RBC Wealth Management Asia, reporting to the Heads of the Desk. You will support the full wealth management platform, handling client transactions, onboarding new relationship managers and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Independently process new account openings, account maintenance, asset transfers, loans, payments, order taking and product recommendations.
• Mentor and train newly onboarded relationship managers through scheduled sessions and regular catch‑ups.
• Provide guidance on client and RM queries regarding RBC WMA’s product suite and capabilities.
• Execute client requests and transactions accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Manage client accounts and relationships, addressing product, pricing and execution inquiries.
• Adhere to the Bank’s code of conduct, KYC, AML, due‑diligence and cross‑border regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partner with the Sales Management Office to support growth initiatives.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving platforms and client experience.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in private banking or wealth management, preferably in ARM or client due‑diligence roles.
• HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8 (or equivalent).
• Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Solid knowledge of investment products and relevant regulations.
• Proven experience with KYC, AML and compliance processes.
• Self‑motivated, positive mindset and comfortable with direct communication.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
