Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the company’s expansion into new markets and grow existing client relationships. This senior‑level position requires managing complex, high‑value solution sales from prospecting through contract closure while collaborating closely with technical and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to penetrate new markets and expand client portfolios.
• Manage the full sales cycle for long‑cycle solution projects, including needs assessment, solution design, proposal preparation and contract signing.
• Build and maintain relationships with C‑level executives, government agencies and channel partners to drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Lead cross‑border negotiations, ensuring compliance with internal risk‑management standards.
• Collaborate with internal technical, delivery and product teams to tailor solutions and strengthen competitive positioning.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and refine go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive B2B business‑development or solution‑sales experience, with proven overseas market expansion.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and ability to handle complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
• Full professional‑level English and Mandarin proficiency with excellent presentation and business‑writing abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and able to operate independently in a fast‑paced environment.
