Cargo Assistant – Hong Kong

About the role

Emirates SkyCargo is seeking a Cargo Assistant to support cargo operations at Hong Kong. You will ensure service quality, handle documentation, and support commercial activities while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee GHA service to ensure compliance with Emirates standards, including load control and safety.
• Process import cargo receipts, breakdowns, and resolve related issues promptly.
• Prepare and verify accurate cargo documentation in line with local regulations.
• Update flight handling reports, identify irregularities, and dispatch post‑flight information.
• Handle cargo telephone reservations, address customer queries, and perform administrative duties such as data entry and reporting.

Required profile

• Educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in cargo operations or an airline environment.
• Fluency in English and the local language (Chinese).
• Right to live and work in Hong Kong (no visa provided).

Required skills

• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations.
• Understanding of Weight & Balance procedures.
• PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
