Charities Manager

About the role

The Charities Manager will support the Institute of Philanthropy (IoP) and the Charities & Community Division in creating and delivering high‑impact content, events and programmes across regional and international platforms. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners and philanthropic foundations to amplify the Club’s charitable initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the IoP PBC & Event Team to produce multimedia content (articles, videos, photos, infographics, animations, UGC, etc.) for seminars, events and side programmes.
• Partner with fellow philanthropic foundations to design and execute seminars and events that raise the IoP’s regional and international profile.
• Initiate, develop and manage programmes and projects within the IoP Programme Development and Management Team.
• Maintain day‑to‑day communications with foundations, multilateral organisations, grantees and partners to strengthen collaboration.
• Leverage the Club’s expertise and external partners’ assets to create engaging programmes for major fora.
• Provide support on additional duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in event production, creative content development or related sectors.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for charity work and a drive to make a social impact.
