Director - Account Servicing

About the role

TEAM LEWIS, a global marketing agency, is looking for a Director to lead its account servicing team in Hong Kong. The Director sits within the senior management team and ensures the office delivers a profitable, creative and forward-thinking client service, while building the client relationship and selling additional services.

Key responsibilities

• New business: lead the new business process with local and regional leadership, run credentials and pitches for top-tier clients, and nurture new prospects.
• Client management: drive account profitability, grow revenues and retainer budgets, and manage strategic client relationships with clear KPIs, deadlines and service agreements.
• Media relations: create media opportunities, advise on narratives and thought leadership, and share knowledge of the media landscape.
• Content: oversee high-quality content, quality control and the implementation of a content strategy.
• Digital and social media: promote digital products, manage client social media activity and work with the digital team to sell digital services.
• Team leadership: coach, supervise and assess team members, set strategic and client objectives, manage budgets and negotiate with clients and suppliers, and recruit and retain talent.
• Reporting and analysis: ensure account profitability, report account performance and KPIs to the client and to senior management, and run training sessions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in a B2B or corporate communications agency at Account Director, Associate Director or Director level.
• Experience in corporate, technology and/or B2B sectors, with a track record of retaining clients and growing account revenues.
• Commercial mindset with strong strategic client consultancy skills.
• Assertive, influential leader able to motivate and develop a team.

Required skills

• Well-versed in social media and the integration of digital marketing into PR.
• Able to advise on PR requirements as well as broader marketing strategy.
