Client Platforms Engineer

About the role

DV Trading, part of the DV Group of financial services firms, is looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused Client Platforms Engineer to join its IT support team. The role provides technical support and assistance to end-users, ensures IT services run smoothly, resolves technical issues promptly and delivers high-quality customer service. The position is based in the Hong Kong office.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT, handling end-user requests by phone, ticket, email, Slack or in person, and logging, prioritizing and routing them in the ticketing system
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and application problems, resolving them or escalating to the right team
• Follow incident management procedures and keep end-users informed of progress
• Handle service requests such as password resets, software installations, access permissions and hardware configuration
• Maintain records of service desk interactions and create knowledge base articles for self-service
• Assist with IT asset management, including inventory, tracking and license allocation
• Participate in training, propose process improvements and collaborate with other IT teams

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Service Desk Engineer or similar in an IT support environment
• Solid knowledge of IT fundamentals: operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), software, hardware and networking
• Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and incident management
• Experience with endpoint management tools such as SCCM, Intune and Jamf
• Willingness to work on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays, for 24/7 coverage
• Ability to work in the Hong Kong office 5 days a week
