Co-op Internship 2027 - Asia Regional Marketing Strategy & Business Planning

About the role

Manulife's Co-op Internship Program offers a 6-month placement in its Asia Regional Marketing Strategy & Business Planning team, based in the Manulife Tower. The intern gains management exposure by working daily with senior stakeholders such as Chief Marketing Officers and regional team leaders. The program provides clear goals, regular feedback and structured support, and includes an H1 2027 intake from January to June 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze regional marketing data to identify trends, validate accuracy and provide insights for strategic decisions
• Act as project coordinator for transformation projects: help set project plans, track progress and ensure projects meet their timelines
• Craft communications frameworks and templates to share progress and monitor marketing program performance
• Manage requests for reporting, analysis and updates to executives and global teams
• Develop presentations that communicate marketing strategies and results to stakeholders
• Take part in team meetings, contribute to discussions and support team initiatives

Required profile

• Detail-oriented, able to apply structure to complex projects and support day-to-day delivery
• Data-driven, interested in using data to inform business decisions
• Comfortable with numbers and data analysis, including drawing insights from large data sets
• Fluent in English and comfortable collaborating with colleagues

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
