Commercial Manager – APAC Region

About the role

Thalassa International Limited is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead growth across its retail, wholesale, e‑commerce and OEM operations in the APAC region. The role will be based in Hong Kong SAR with responsibilities extending to Fuzhou, China, and will focus on expanding market presence within the fast‑fashion sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies across retail, wholesale, e‑commerce and OEM channels.
• Drive growth and monitor KPIs for each business segment.
• Manage regional wholesale partnerships throughout China and broader Asia.
• Lead franchise development and acquisition of new wholesale clients.
• Integrate online and offline retail operations for seamless performance.
• Oversee commercial relationships with Korean fashion brands and drive OEM business development.
• Collaborate closely with merchandising and e‑commerce teams to optimise performance.
• Monitor market trends and identify new growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in fashion retail/wholesale, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Management or a related field.
• Proven success in multi‑channel business development and KPI management.
• Deep knowledge of fast‑fashion markets and business landscape in APAC.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; additional languages such as Thai or Malay are a plus.
