Consultant – Hong Kong

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking consultants to join its Hong Kong team, working side‑by‑side with clients on strategic projects across banking, financial services, insurance, and other industries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage execution of project workstreams, including hypothesis development, data collection, model creation, and analysis.
• Synthesize findings into written presentations and discuss insights with clients and stakeholders.
• Support Partner groups in project delivery through accurate, high‑quality execution.
• Report to Engagement Managers and Principals, seeking guidance on technical or senior‑level issues.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably at a top‑tier strategy consulting firm.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Asset Management, Retail, Consumer Goods, or Telecommunications is a plus.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Willingness to travel and work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Experience using SQL.
• Knowledge of Python.
