Cybersecurity Manager

About the role

The Cybersecurity Manager will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and lead the development and execution of the organisation's cybersecurity strategy. This role ensures the protection of information assets, manages risk, and drives a resilient security posture across all ICT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the cybersecurity strategy, roadmap and governance framework.
• Develop, maintain and enforce security policies, standards and procedures aligned with industry best‑practice frameworks.
• Deploy and manage security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti‑malware solutions, encryption and SIEM platforms.
• Conduct regular resilience assessments, identify gaps and drive remediation actions.
• Monitor security events, analyse alerts and lead incident response activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security into new and existing ICT projects.
• Perform security assessments of ICT outsourcing arrangements.
• Lead security awareness training and education programmes for staff.
• Prepare management reports, key risk indicators and dashboards for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
• Proven experience with formal resilience assessments and security governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, ICT or a related field; certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CEH, CCSP or CCSK are a plus.
• Strong understanding of security principles, frameworks and standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
