About the role

Join the culinary team of L'Envol, a prestigious 2‑star Michelin French restaurant in Hong Kong. As a Demi Chef / Commis you will support the kitchen brigade in delivering high‑quality dishes while adhering to the restaurant’s exacting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix according to recipes.
• Cook and plate dishes, both hot and cold, following quality, presentation and safety standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers; test and monitor food for proper doneness.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen environment.
• Check and record appliance and food temperatures, and follow all safety and security policies.
• Collaborate professionally with team members, supporting a positive work atmosphere.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
