Deputy General Manager - Property Projects

About the role

CITIC Pacific Ltd. is looking for a Deputy General Manager for its Property Projects team in Hong Kong. The role supports the General Manager in running the team and oversees ongoing property projects, from feasibility through to construction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing the Property Projects team, including manpower planning, recruitment, budgeting and team operations.
• Handle all correspondence between departments on Property Projects matters.
• Oversee ongoing property projects so they meet timelines, budgets and quality.
• Facilitate project implementation and management, including feasibility studies and design workshops.
• Advise the General Manager on the technical aspects of construction implementation.
• Carry out feasibility studies for land acquisition for potential developments or redevelopments.
• Act as the E&M-in-charge for all ongoing property projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 20 years in engineering design and project management for new-build and/or A&A works.
• Experience with property developers is an advantage; proven experience on large high-end residential or commercial projects is highly preferred.
• Recognized professional qualification such as HKIE or CIBSE, or equivalent.
• Fluent Cantonese, Putonghua and English.
