Deskside/Helpdesk Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Deskside/Helpdesk Support Engineer to join our IT team. The role involves delivering first‑line technical assistance to end‑users across Windows, Microsoft 365 and mobile platforms, ensuring a stable and secure computing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1‑2 desktop and deskside support for Windows PCs, Microsoft 365 services and mobile devices.
• Monitor network performance, servers and security infrastructure and raise alerts when needed.
• Configure, install and maintain computers, peripherals and software applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network and application issues, escalating to vendors or senior staff when required.
• Maintain up‑to‑date, secure IT environments and enforce data‑protection policies.
• Create and manage user accounts, workstations and laptop deployments.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or desktop support role.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and a strong service‑oriented attitude.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset and good interpersonal skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
