Duty Engineer – Hotel Engineering

About the role

The Duty Engineer will lead the daily operations of the engineering department at a 5‑star waterfront hotel in Hong Kong. You will ensure that all building services run smoothly, maintain high safety standards, and support a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day engineering activities and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Supervise and direct engineering team members to deliver efficient maintenance tasks.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate safety and health risks in the workplace.
• Monitor and manage the work progress of outsourced engineering contractors.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma or Certificate in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a 5‑star hotel or clubhouse environment.
• Holder of an Electrical Worker License (Grade A or above) and a Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate.
• Strong written communication skills in English and Chinese.
