Engineering Manager, Treasury

About the role

As Engineering Manager, Treasury you will lead the team that builds the global, asset‑agnostic money‑movement infrastructure powering Reap’s products. You will own the design, development and operation of core treasury systems, including wallet and custody integrations, and translate treasury strategy into reliable production services.

Key responsibilities

• Own the engineering side of the Treasury domain – assets, currencies, rails, FX, wallet and ledger infrastructure – to enable new markets and hubs.
• Lead end‑to‑end wallet and custody integrations, from provider evaluation and key‑management design to production operation and reconciliation.
• Partner with product, finance, design and operations to drive cross‑functional outcomes and communicate technical decisions to leadership.
• Build observability, incident response processes and continuous reliability improvements across the global treasury stack.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in treasuries, ledgers or FX, with 1‑2 years in technical leadership.
• Deep understanding of crypto wallet architecture, custodial and non‑custodial models, key management and signing flows.
• Proven ability to design and operate business‑critical, API‑driven global financial systems.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset focused on correctness, edge cases and robust solutions.
• Excellent written communication and peer‑review standards.
