Event Executive – Banquet & Catering Services

About the role

The Event Executive will coordinate banquet and catering services, acting as the main liaison between clients, internal teams and suppliers. You will ensure each event runs smoothly, from initial enquiry through to post‑event reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all event enquiries and communicate with organisers to capture requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments (culinary, event, sales) to guarantee successful execution.
• Update event details and changes to the culinary and event teams.
• Prepare detailed event orders for organisers.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and partners.
• Ensure all event materials are current and available.
• Attend daily briefings and share event status with the team.
• Collaborate with the Chef on tailor‑made menus.
• Manage administrative tasks such as monthly reports.
• Support special projects assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in hotel event sales and coordination, preferably in a medium‑size property.
• Excellent spoken English and Chinese, with good written Chinese.
• Outgoing, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
