Finance Director – APAC (Hong Kong)

About the role

Pattern is seeking a Finance Director for the APAC region, based in Hong Kong with regular travel to Guangzhou. You will lead the finance function across Asia and Australia, supporting rapid e‑commerce growth through data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full FP&A cycle – annual operating plan, monthly close, rolling forecasts and variance analysis for the APAC region.
• Partner with Managing Directors and senior leaders to provide financial insight for strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain long‑range financial models to guide regional expansion, investment prioritisation and resource allocation.
• Design and deliver performance reporting that highlights gaps versus plan and recommends corrective actions.
• Lead cross‑functional financial projects that influence high‑impact business decisions across geographies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA, CFA or MBA a plus.
• 8‑15 years of progressive finance experience in complex, matrixed or multinational organisations.
• Proven ability to lead and influence teams of 2‑3 people without direct headcount.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to communicate across cultures.
