Financial Analyst – Financial Restructuring (Hong Kong)

About the role

Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join its Hong Kong office. The analyst will work on a broad range of complex restructuring and distressed M&A transactions across Greater China, supporting both debtor‑ and creditor‑side engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information for clients.
• Create and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate restructuring scenarios.
• Coordinate and perform business and financial due diligence.
• Draft confidential information memoranda, management presentations, pitch materials, and other client deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with Managing Directors, Directors, Vice Presidents, and Associates throughout the deal lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst within investment banking or financial restructuring.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to handle high‑impact, multi‑stakeholder transactions.
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, results‑driven environment.
• Willingness to engage regularly with senior‑level professionals and clients.
