Financial Due Diligence Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Due Diligence Specialist to join RedotPay’s Legal Team. Reporting to the Venture Counsel, you will evaluate acquisition targets, investment opportunities and strategic partnerships in a fast‑moving crypto‑fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end financial due diligence on potential M&A targets, including historical statement analysis, quality of earnings, working capital, debt items and normalization adjustments.
• Build, maintain and stress‑test three‑statement, DCF, LBO and scenario models to assess valuation, synergies and post‑deal performance.
• Identify financial risks, opportunities and deal breakers, benchmarking against fintech, payments and digital‑asset peers.
• Prepare concise due‑diligence reports, presentations and data‑room materials for senior leadership and investment committees.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Product and Technology teams as well as external advisors throughout the due‑diligence process.
• Support post‑acquisition integration planning through ongoing financial analysis and performance tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field with strong academic results.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Services or Investment Banking; Big 4 background preferred.
• Fluent English and Chinese communication skills.
• Experience in fintech, payments, digital assets or crypto‑related transactions is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, macros and scenario analysis tools.
• Solid understanding of financial statement analysis, quality of earnings, net working capital and purchase price adjustments.
