Full‑time Barista – Hong Kong Café

About the role

This full-time, on-site position is based in Hong Kong and focuses on preparing and serving specialty coffee and other beverages in a vibrant café environment. The Barista will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present specialty coffee, tea, and other drinks using espresso machines and related equipment.
• Take customer orders, handle cash and POS transactions, and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the café area, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory of coffee beans, supplies, and stock, performing simple stock counts.
• Collaborate closely with the bookstore and café team to support a cohesive customer experience.

Required profile

• Demonstrated barista skills, including coffee preparation, beverage presentation, and espresso machine operation.
• Clear communication abilities for interacting with customers and team members.
• Food preparation knowledge with attention to quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or retail setting is advantageous.
• Ability to handle cash, POS systems, and basic inventory tasks.
