Head of International Technology & Automotive

About the role

As the Head of International Technology & Automotive at ANZ, you will lead the bank’s growth agenda in the technology and automotive sectors across the International division. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape strategy, manage risk and drive client‑focused solutions for our largest institutional customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy and risk appetite for the International Technology and Automotive sector.
• Identify, originate and close new business opportunities in partnership with coverage and product teams.
• Build and deepen senior client relationships, delivering bespoke banking solutions and expanding share‑of‑wallet.
• Map client needs to internal capabilities across coverage, risk, operations and product functions.
• Lead portfolio governance, industry risk oversight and strategic client engagement.
• Collaborate with risk, enablement and product partners to develop integrated, customer‑first offerings.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to ANZ values: customer focus, excellence, ownership and teamwork.
• Proven experience in senior banking or financial services roles with a technology or automotive focus.
• Strong track record of managing risk, portfolio governance and strategic client sponsorship.
• Willingness to undergo mandatory reference checks under the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s MRC Scheme.
