Investment Counsellor / Advisor – Private Banking (VP/Director level)

About the role

Provide holistic investment advisory services to ultra‑high‑net‑worth (UHNW) and high‑net‑worth (HNW) private banking clients across multiple asset classes. Partner closely with Relationship Managers to deliver tailored portfolio solutions, market insights and revenue‑generating investment ideas.

Key responsibilities

• Generate investment ideas, portfolio strategies and tactical asset‑allocation recommendations aligned with client objectives and risk profiles.
• Deliver timely market updates, thematic views and investment presentations through meetings and portfolio reviews.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to enhance client engagement and identify business‑development opportunities.
• Execute investment opportunities and contribute to revenue generation through high‑quality advice.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of stable, relevant experience as an Investment Counsellor or Investment Advisor within private banking.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA or CFP are advantageous.
• Proven track record of revenue generation and advisory achievements.
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
• Open to candidates from traditional private banking or semi‑private advisory platforms.
