Legal Consultant – Asset Management & Securities

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Consultant to support our financial institution clients in asset management, securities brokerage, and wealth management across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support on asset management, securities brokerage, and wealth management activities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate fund constitutive documents, investment management and distribution agreements, and brokerage/trading agreements such as ISDA, futures, and options.
• Review client‑facing and marketing materials for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor regulatory developments, update internal policies/templates, and deliver training on securities and asset management legal issues.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of post‑qualification experience in securities, funds, or asset management law at a reputable law firm or financial institution.
• Excellent contract drafting and communication skills in English and Chinese, ideally including Mandarin proficiency.

Required skills

• Legal drafting of fund constitutive documents and investment agreements.
• Knowledge of ISDA, futures, and options trading agreements.
