Legal Consultant – GMSLA

About the role

Axiom is seeking experienced legal consultants with strong GMSLA expertise to support Fortune 500 financial services clients in securities lending and collateral matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate GMSLAs and related trading/collateral documents.
• Support front‑office and operations on legal and commercial issues in securities lending.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, and external counsel to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
• Maintain template agreements and playbooks to improve negotiation efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience in GMSLA negotiation and documentation.
• Strong hands‑on experience as a qualified or non‑qualified negotiator.
• Clear communicator and confident negotiator able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
