Logistics Support Assistant (Half-Day)

About the role

A cultural institution in Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong, is hiring a Logistics Support Assistant through its client AR Solution Ltd. The position offers stable half-day working hours, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:00, for 20 hours per week. It is a 12-month contract from 7 August 2026 to 6 August 2027, with one vacancy.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver materials indoors and outdoors, such as office documents, publicity materials, bulky mailing items, stationery, books and sanitation supplies; personal mobile use is required for outdoor duties.
• Handle inbound and outbound manual work, including moving heavy objects like stores, equipment and furniture, replenishing distilled water and doing pantry duties.
• Perform simple office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, paper binding and shredding, filing, storing stationery and handling mail.
• Assist with venue setting and logistics support for museum activities, lectures and exhibitions, including moving equipment.
• Help with stock-taking of items such as Museum Passes, publications, souvenirs and equipment.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Museum representatives.

Required profile

• Permanent resident of the Hong Kong SAR.
• HKDSEE Level 2 or above in five subjects, or HKCEE Grade E or above in five subjects, or completed Form 5.
• Proficient in Cantonese and able to speak simple English; able to read and write Chinese and simple English.
• Physically capable of manual and outdoor work.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in government office logistics/support, or at least 2 years of full-time relevant experience.
