Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

Brenntag is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to support and manage end-to-end supply chain operations for project-based business initiatives. The role covers coordinating cross-functional activities, managing suppliers and logistics partners, and ensuring timely delivery of materials, from planning through completion. Experience in listed companies or large enterprises is highly preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supply chain activities for assigned projects, aligned with timelines, budgets and business objectives
• Coordinate procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics and delivery schedules
• Work with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance and external suppliers
• Develop and maintain project supply plans and track milestones and risks
• Manage supplier performance, lead times and delivery tracking
• Monitor inventory levels and optimise stock management
• Support contracts, purchase orders and vendor communication
• Prepare project status reports and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and regulations

Required profile

• Diploma or above in Business, Supply Chain, Management, Secretarial Studies or a related field
• 5-10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, merchandise procurement, inventory and logistics management
• Proven experience managing supply chain in project-based environments
• Understanding of project lifecycle management and cross-functional coordination
• Preferred: experience in listed companies or MNCs, and in demand planning, inventory optimisation and supplier relationship management
