Hiring: Maintenance Engineer – ControlLocation: Hong KongWorking Hours: Shift (8 or 12 hours)Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive, corrective & breakdown maintenance on automation/control systemsTroubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs & electrical systemsDiagnose faults in conveyors, sorters, lifts & material handling systemsSupport low-level control systems & resolve PLC-related issuesInterpret electrical drawings & control schematicsRecord downtime, faults & actions in CMMS (e.g., Maximo)Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) & prepare technical reportsCollaborate with engineering & operations teamsSupervise technicians during troubleshooting & repairsEnsure safety, reliability & system uptime in a high-availability environmentRequirements:Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Automation / Mechatronics / Control Engineering5+ years in industrial automation / BHS / MHS / logistics systemsStrong PLC troubleshooting (Siemens S7 / TIA preferred)Experience with HMI, VFDs & industrial networksGood understanding of control systems & field devicesAbility to read ladder logic, wiring & control diagramsExperience with CMMS tools (Maximo or similar)Strong problem-solving & fault-finding skillsAbility to work under pressure in breakdown situationsGood communication skills (English + local language) Show more Show less
