About the role
CITIC Pacific is hiring a Manager (Quantity Surveyor) for property projects in Hong Kong on a 3-year contract. The role covers review of contracts, costs and tenders for assigned projects.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing contracts of the assigned project
- Assist in reviewing cost planning, payments, variation claims and final accounts
- Assist in reviewing tender preparation and contract and subcontract documents
- Prepare internal reports and provide recommendations
Required profile
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- 10 years of post-qualification experience in the construction industry; property developer and/or consulting firm background is an advantage
- Proven experience on sizable residential or commercial projects is highly preferred
- MHKIS / MRICS or equivalent professional membership
- Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
- Discretion, integrity, critical thinking, strong problem-solving, analytical and negotiation skills, and a positive team attitude
