Manager, Sales Development, SME & Growth

About the role

Airwallex is looking for a Sales Development Manager to lead and scale a high‑performing team of SDRs in Hong Kong. You will own the end‑to‑end SDR operating rhythm, driving lead generation and pipeline quality for the SME and start‑up segment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the day‑to‑day SDR operating rhythm, including hiring, onboarding, ramp plans and regular 1:1 coaching.
• Monitor pipeline quality, conversion metrics and ensure each SDR has the tools, training and support to meet targets.
• Lead, coach and grow a team of SDRs who initiate contact with potential customers and qualify high‑value opportunities.
• Design, optimise and implement demand‑generation strategies and refine Airwallex’s value proposition for the SME market.
• Create and maintain key sales assets, playbooks and enablement tools for the team.
• Partner with product and marketing teams to align messaging and drive early‑stage funnel activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and scaling SDR or sales‑development teams in a fast‑growth environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track and improve pipeline metrics.
• Excellent coaching and people‑development skills, able to build high‑performing, motivated teams.
• Strategic thinker who can design and execute demand‑generation processes.
• Passion for fintech and global payments solutions.
