Merchandiser & Product Coordinator (Fashion Lab) - 1-Year Contract

About the role

Kiabi's Hong Kong trading office, International Trading Fashion & Apparel Services Limited (ITFAS), is hiring a Merchandiser & Product Coordinator (Fashion Lab) for a 1-year contract. The role covers operational merchandising, PLM system updates, order management and cross-functional tracking within the Hong Kong hub, ensuring smooth execution across product development and bulk production through sample workflows, purchase orders, critical path timelines and production capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Input, maintain and audit product data, style references and bills of materials (BOM) in MAP and Centric PLM systems
• Set up POM orders and issue accurate, timely purchase orders to suppliers and vendors
• Coordinate samples from protocol and fitting through pre-production and sales samples, manage intake, distribution, reviews and approvals, and follow up production with vendors for on-time delivery
• Track cargo movements and shipping documents with logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery
• Track the critical path daily across design, development and production to avoid delays
• Coordinate AI photo creation, liaise with photography studios, track image schedules and check image and product information with the Content team before publishing

Required profile

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion & Textiles, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in fashion merchandising, garment sourcing or product development coordination
• Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Experience in fast-fashion and quick-response business models is preferred

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Centric PLM, MAP or similar enterprise fashion software
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Time management, attention to detail and strong cross-functional communication
