About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Principal to lead high‑impact consulting engagements for financial services clients in Hong Kong. The role involves driving strategic solutions, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to thought leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end consulting projects, including hypothesis development, data gathering, analysis and delivery of actionable insights.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives, influencing decisions and expanding long‑term partnerships.
• Partner with Oliver Wyman leadership to ensure exceptional work quality and client impact.
• Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of relevant financial services experience, preferably from a top‑tier strategy consulting firm or in‑house strategy department.
• Proven track record of leading teams or work streams and delivering results under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem‑solving skills with deep industry knowledge.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, confident engaging senior executives.
