Project Manager (15-Month Contract)

About the role

The PositionAssist Project Director (E&M) is seeking a Project Manager on a 15‑month contract to lead capital and non‑capital works across the corporation. You will oversee projects from design through construction, handover and defect‑liability periods, ensuring they meet time, budget, quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and plan all capital/non‑capital projects, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and delegation authority.
• Participate in MEP project management from design, construction, handover to DLP completion.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, consultants, government departments and relevant organisations.
• Prepare procurement documents, select and monitor consultants and contractors.
• Consolidate project requirements, produce preliminary and detailed designs, tender and construction documents.
• Handle improvement, minor works, defects‑rectification, fitting‑out, alteration and addition works.
• Produce drawings, tender documents and presentation graphics.
• Prepare papers and reports for board, committee and task‑force approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Building Services, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in building services design, site management and cost control.
• Member of a recognised professional institute (e.g., CEng, HKIE).
• Proven track record in consultancy, project management and contract administration of large‑scale projects.
• Experience with laboratory, hospital, hotel, renovation and new‑build projects is an advantage.
• Valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certification.
