Regional Projects & Value Chain Analysis Intern – Petrochemicals APAC

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Strategic Marketing Petrochemicals Asia Pacific, you will support key regional business unit initiatives and conduct market analyses to uncover growth opportunities across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Examine data to identify mid‑ to long‑term market opportunities and develop hypotheses that support business growth.
• Facilitate workshops and strategic discussions with the Petrochemicals Asia Pacific Leadership Team, preparing clear and compelling presentation materials.
• Contribute ideas on workshop structure, objectives, and documentation.
• Review and analyse existing market intelligence, highlighting insights relevant to the organization.
• Provide objective perspectives on market gaps and recommend potential target opportunities.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
• Available for a 3‑month internship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
