Senior Accountant – DeFi & Crypto Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong expertise in decentralized finance (DeFi) and crypto asset management. The role focuses on accurate reconciliation of on‑chain staking revenue, wallet management, and month‑end financial reporting for both crypto and fiat transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile DeFi staking revenue using on‑chain explorer data and collaborate with risk and wallet teams to validate rewards and ensure timely account crediting.
• Extract raw data from internal databases, reconcile weekly and monthly financial wallets across spot, margin, futures, and staking categories, and perform risk analysis on asset movements.
• Evaluate incoming payment requests, validate vendor credentials, wallet addresses, blockchain networks, and transaction amounts, and act as the primary liaison for payment discrepancies.
• Execute month‑end closing in QuickBooks, record all crypto and fiat transactions in the ERP system, and prepare monthly cash‑flow forecasts to support liquidity planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting and reporting experience, preferably with audit exposure.
• Hands‑on experience with crypto exchanges, blockchain transactions, and on‑chain data analysis.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
