Senior Client Manager – Multinational Benefits

About the role

Mercer is seeking a Multinational Senior Client Manager to join its MMB Global Benefits Management team in Hong Kong. This hybrid position requires three days a week in the office and focuses on supporting a portfolio of multinational clients across Asia‑Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client relationships for a portfolio of complex multinational accounts, acting as the main point of contact and trusted advisor.
• Manage escalations, oversee project delivery, and guide junior staff across borders.
• Design and implement client‑management tools, monitor service level agreements, and ensure alignment with centralized guidance.
• Execute global benefit strategies, including financing through pooling, captives, and insurance programs.
• Support business development activities, contribute to thought leadership, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of broking experience in health, life, or disability insurance.
• Proven ability to cultivate client relationships and handle demanding situations.
• Strong project‑management and operational skills with a track record of process improvement.
• Analytical mindset with experience reviewing renewal documents and identifying claims drivers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
