Senior Electronics Engineer – Hardware Development

About the role

As a Senior Electronics Engineer at Nex, you will be at the core of the Playground hardware and smart accessories development. You will translate ambitious product concepts into reliable, scalable hardware, overseeing the full lifecycle from prototype to mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate printed‑circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for new products.
• Define precise hardware specifications and lead joint‑development‑manufacturing (JDM) execution with external partners.
• Support products through engineering validation test (EVT), industrialisation, production launch and ongoing sustainment.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and field issues, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Improve lab practices, tools, standards and technical judgement to raise overall engineering quality.
