Senior Project Manager (E&M)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Senior Project Manager in Project Management in Hong Kong. You will lead the execution of construction and workplace projects, making sure quality, cost, safety and scheduling objectives are met, while coordinating stakeholders and managing site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support junior team members, help onboard new colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture
• Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers, run stakeholder meetings and report progress
• Lead project management so that quality, cost, statutory compliance, safety, environmental standards and schedule are met
• Manage the master programme, including materials and long lead items, and keep weekly work plans, look-ahead schedules and inspection timelines up to date
• Plan and organise statutory inspections and ensure timely approvals
• Monitor progress and quality with site teams, enforce safety standards and support project administration
• Oversee external consultants and multidisciplinary teams, and act as the main liaison between internal stakeholders and consultants
• Facilitate regular project progress meetings and produce project reports covering updates, risks, decisions and action items
• Prepare and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or Excel, including baseline setting and critical path analysis
• Manage procurement for consultants, including drafting scopes, evaluating bids and negotiating contracts

Required profile

• Degree in Construction, Project Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing commercial building E&M or data centre related projects is preferred
• Proven experience leading small to medium-sized construction projects of low to medium complexity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English required
