Senior Purchasing Officer / Assistant Purchasing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Purchasing Officer / Assistant Purchasing Manager to lead and support our finished‑goods purchasing strategy for kitchen electromechanical products. The role focuses on cost efficiency, quality standards, and sustainability while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define product specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct market research, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate cost‑effective agreements.
• Foster strong supplier relationships, address performance issues, and ensure compliance.
• Analyze market trends to drive cost‑reduction initiatives and meet budget targets.
• Track project specifications, pricing, timelines, and escalate issues as needed.
• Resolve supplier‑related logistics, quality, and sustainability challenges.
• Collect and analyse purchasing data to support decision‑making.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to improve overall supply‑chain effectiveness.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Purchasing or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in purchasing.
• Proven supplier‑management, costing and negotiation expertise.
• Knowledge of small domestic appliances and Asian markets.
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
