Site Reliability Engineer – Global Quant Trading Firm (Hong Kong)

About the role

Join a leading global quantitative trading firm as a Site Reliability Engineer based in Hong Kong. You will own the design, implementation and operation of the highly scalable infrastructure that powers mission‑critical trading systems worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable platform infrastructure.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
• Enhance platform observability through monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting.
• Create automation and self‑service tooling for engineering teams.
• Support containerised workloads and orchestrate large‑scale environments.
• Drive reliability, performance and scalability improvements across distributed systems and middleware.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and a passion for building highly available platforms.
• Track record of delivering and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Hands‑on experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
