Software Engineer, Mobile

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to join OKX’s engineering organization in Hong Kong. You will build and scale high‑performance native mobile applications that serve millions of global users across our crypto trading and wallet ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modular native iOS or Android features used by millions of users.
• Drive technical decisions on mobile architecture, API design, performance optimisation and offline resiliency.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive mobile experiences.
• Write clean, testable code and uphold high standards for code reviews, testing, security and monitoring.
• Integrate AI coding tools into your workflow and develop repeatable AI‑assisted development processes.
• Leverage modern tooling, CI/CD pipelines and productivity workflows to maintain rapid iteration speed.

Required profile

• Solid software engineering fundamentals with hands‑on experience shipping production native mobile apps (iOS with Swift/Objective‑C or Android with Kotlin/Java).
• Strong understanding of mobile system design, clean architecture, memory management, testing and performance tuning.
• Ability to actively apply AI coding tools and continuously optimise personal engineering productivity.
• Problem‑solving mindset with ownership of end‑to‑end features and independent execution.
